Biography
Noemi Gonzalez is a multimedia artist based in Denver, Colorado. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a concentration in Painting from Colorado State University in 2023. She has exhibited her work at various galleries in Fort Collins and once in Denver. One notable achievement was her recent participation in the prestigious Rocky Mountain Triennial exhibit of 2023, hosted at the Museum of Art Fort Collins. In recognition of her talent and dedication, she received a Jurors' Award for Excellence in a group exhibit in 2022.

Born in Mexico and raised in Denver since the age of three, Noemi draws upon her Mexican-American identity and personal immigrant experience as primary sources of inspiration. Her latest body of work delves deep into these themes, showcasing her commitment to social justice efforts, particularly immigrant advocacy, and issues related to race and class. Noemi's passion for social justice blossomed during her undergraduate years, where she immersed herself in Ethnic Studies courses. This academic exploration deeply influences her artwork, which serves as a powerful medium for addressing the complex intersectional issues of race, class, and immigration.
